Our Journey to Carson

Final Countdown...

This is it...checking things off the list for a final time.

*We signed Carson up for preschool this morning and met his teacher, Miss Tracy -- I love her philosophy of teaching and the way she runs her classroom!
*We went to the bank and collected our new money.
*We folded all the clean laundry -- been doing laundry for DAYS -- and figured out what we were actually going to take with us. (Picking for Carson was tough...we have no idea what size he's in!!)
*We packed and weighed all the checked bags -- not one of them was overweight! YEAH!
*We stuffed our carry-ons with lots of things to pass the time on the LONG flight to China.
*Our wonderful neighbor, Susan (aka Sarah's mom), came over to learn how to use our security system. That way, they can bring in the mail and newspaper and check on the house from time to time while we're gone. (Thanks for being willing to do that!! You guys rock!!)

I have to go to class tonight, then back for a SHORT nap, then shower and off to the airport. I'll probably blog one more time before we leave...hard to believe we get on the plane in 14 hours!!
